Sizes provided on the site are currently in base 10 SI units.
For example, 25675642784 bytes is called “25.7 GB” by the website.
However, SI units are really only used by hard drive manufacturers to make their products sound better.
The rest of the computing world works in base 2 IEC units, so that value is actually “23.9 GiB” to everyone else on the planet.
It would be better if the HF website worked in IEC units so it was easier to estimate disk usage and VRAM usage.
If not implemented everywhere, could this at least be an option in user settings like Content Preferences?
