Docker SDK now marked as "Paid" when creating a new Space?

Today I noticed that the Docker SDK is marked as Paid when creating a new Space. Earlier today it appeared to be available on the free tier.

I couldn’t find any announcement, changelog, or documentation update about this change.

Is this:

  • an intentional rollout,
  • an account-specific restriction,
  • or a temporary UI issue?

Thanks!

Hmm… Seems not here. Perhaps depends to settings or so? Or fixed itself…?

:frowning: I see something similar in the UI but yeah, looks like they literally just moved cpu basic for docker container deployments behind a paywall. I just tried deploying something in CLI and I got “Static Spaces are free for everyone, but hosting Gradio and Docker Spaces on free cpu-basic requires a PRO subscription. Sadly, they did this without an announcement or warning. They haven’t even updated their pricing page:

I see the same thing when trying with the CLI. Odd that there’s no announcement or documentation on it. :\

oh… i’ve got this

They gave some free users 2 zerogpu spaces. On the Other hand, some users are stuck at static space only.

So, currently there is no way to use docker space for free.

We got GPU shortage then ram and SSD shortage now CPU shortage. Next will be water shortage? :grimacing:

I think this move is due to an infrastructure shortage, possibly temporary.

when will it be available again?
