Hi everyone, we’re opening DataUniversa’s Data Challenge to researchers, developers, organizations, and independent builders worldwide.
If an AI project is failing, the model may not be the real problem. The obstacle may be that:
- The required evidence was never collected
- Important data is missing or unrepresentative
- Useful information is trapped in documents, media, or inconsistent formats
- Separate datasets cannot be meaningfully realigned
- The data lacks the real-world context needed to support reliable reasoning
DataUniversa helps investigate these problems and determine what is actually preventing the intended outcome. Depending on the challenge, that could involve restructuring existing information, connecting data from different collection efforts, adding relevant external context, identifying missing evidence, or designing a new collection effort.
A useful contribution:
- Describe an outcome your organization, research team, or AI system is trying to achieve.
- Explain what data is available and where the process currently breaks down.
- Tell us what has already been attempted.
You do not need to provide confidential, personal, or regulated data. We initially need only the problem, the desired outcome, and the known constraints.
Our assessment and use of existing DataUniversa capabilities are free. If solving the problem requires new collection, processing, or implementation, we define that work and its cost before anything proceeds.
Bring us the problem here:
We’re especially interested in difficult cases involving missing evidence, low-resource populations, fragmented datasets, unstructured information, interoperability, provenance, or real-world context.
