I’m looking for project ideas that are both industry-relevant and impactful enough to strengthen my resume. For example, implementing a RAG model a couple of years ago was considered a top-tier project. However, I stepped away from AI around that time and focused entirely on my core specialization in cybersecurity. Interestingly, I’m now working as an AI Security Engineer, which brings me back to the intersection of both fields.
Given this shift, I want to build a project that can serve as my master’s major project while also significantly improving my chances during resume shortlisting. I’d really appreciate insights or suggestions from experienced professionals on what kind of projects would currently stand out in the industry.
