I have discovered that I THOROUGHLY enjoy using AI to have imaginary alternative history adventures.
However the commercial ones like GROK and Claude will break the 4th wall to start MORALIZING and lecturing me about my own imaginary adventures through time and space with historic figures.
What models do you guys use to have fun fictional adventures without all the political correctness hardwired in.

The key will be whether you can find a long-context LLM with a tone that suits your writing style.
When it comes to knowledge, even the most massive LLMs (such as the largest versions of GPT or Gemini, or Kimi) have limitations. Since LLMs trained on general knowledge aren’t particularly suited for maintaining consistency in fictional or hypothetical settings, it’s best to select an LLM as the core with the intention of integrating it into a RAG or Agentic RAG-style approach.
