Paper: “Serialisation Strategy Matters: How FHIR Data Format Affects LLM Medication Reconciliation”
Summary: We benchmark 5 open-weight LLMs (Phi-3.5, Mistral-7B, BioMistral-7B, Llama-3.1-8B, Llama-3.3-70B) across 4 FHIR serialisation strategies on a 200-patient synthetic cohort. Results show format choice alone produces large F1 swings across all model sizes.
