I’ve been working on a WebUI (Streamlit application) for BERTScore using the monsoon-nlp/hindi-tpu-electra model. I’ve just finished with the code (Just left with a few bugs )

Now comes the anything else part :

Hi :wave:t2:, I’m a senior high school student from New Delhi, India and I want to pursue deep learning in my higher education. I spent the last 2 years studying Machine Learning having completed multiple specialisations from deeplearning.ai, Google, IBM, Imperial College London, the OpenMined Udacity Course and many other courses.

Before that, I’ve worked as a Front End Developer with 6 months of internship experience in a leading educational startup. I also have a tech firm which I started with a couple of friends and we take industry projects for App and Web development. I’ve also worked a lot with IoT and Robotics having won multiple hackathon’s and representing my projects in the National Science Fair consecutively for 2 years. Two of my projects on Fake News Classification and Regression Analysis of Primary Biliary Cirrhosis are currently being mentored by Intel under the AI 4 Youth program.

I hope to pursue my Bachelors ( Hopefully with integrated masters ) from the United Kingdom. I’ve applied and already gotten an offer from the University of Birmingham, hoping to get into the University of Edinburgh. :crossed_fingers:

I’m currently learning about Attention, Self-Supervised Representation Learning, Graphical Models and Medical Imaging (Prognosis, some regression analysis as well).

I’ve worked a lot with Tensorflow, Pytorch, JAX Based ecosystems (Trax, Flax, Objax, …). I’m almost done with Cynthia Dwork’s book The Algorithmic Foundations of Differential Privacy. I’ve been reading some academic papers in Differential Privacy for about 3 months and am interested to learn how to deploy these systems in production.

Thanks a lot for anyone who read the whole thing. Would love to connect.

Hi all,

I’m Aryaman! I’m a 1st year undergrad majoring in Computer Science and Linguistics at Georgetown University, working in Dr. Nathan Schneider’s NERT research group. I’m interested in making sense of natural language not only for practical (NLP) purposes like NLU but also for improving linguistic theories and models of language.

  • Github: aryamanarora
  • Twitter: aryaman2020
  • Website: aryamanarora.github .io
  • Languages: Hindi (native), English (native), Urdu (advanced, can read/write), Punjabi (intermediate), Mandarin Chinese (used to be much better, very basic now)

I have written a paper on Hindi schwa deletion at ACL 2020 and am currently doing a project on supersense annotation of the relations encoded by case (मैंने, मुझको, मुझपर, etc.) and adpositions (मेरे सामने, मेरे लिए, etc.) in Hindi. The beginnings of that were published at SCiL 2021.

I’m currently working on several interesting things: using BERT to predict the meanings of semantic relators like case markers in Hindi, aligning parallel texts using BERT for typology work, some computational historical linguistics on South Asian languages, …check out my website for more of my work.
