Finally sorted out some of the problems. To answer my own question on Squarespace + embedding in case anyone lands up here with similar problems.
Embedding with Web Components works, but:
- only if you use a fresh blank page. Templated pages on Squarespace don’t seem to play well
- make sure the Gradio JS library is the latest version, in this case 3.9. I used an earlier version 3.8.2 and somehow that didn’t work
- some apps could be embedded/run smoothly, while others can’t. Still troubleshooting on this one.
Iframes don’t seem to work well on Squarespace as far as HF/Gradio apps on Spaces are concerned.
Some of these issues are probably peculiar to Squarespace, so take it for what it’s worth…
