Recently we added Hugging Face GGUF model support in RecurseChat, a macOS local AI app.
I wrote about it here: Hugging Face GGUF Model support available in RecurseChat and covered technical details of how you can extract information from a GGUF model using @huggingface/gguf library, and converting the chat template, as well as using deep link to add a GGUF model.
In addition to this, we are happy to announce free trial for RecurseChat is now available for Hugging Face users.
