Question Answering for generating long answers

Hello,

Most of the Question Answering model answers are small like 3-4 words. What if I want to build a model which could elaborate my answer rather than a factoid based answer.

Here I have context and a question and I want it to answer a long answer sequence based on the context given.

Is there some method I can control the process to generate longer sequence answer.
Any model, or any idea how to approach this problem that may be helpful.

hey @theainerd it sounds like you’re looking for models that are trained for long form question answering. here’s a great article by Yacine Jernite that shows how you can train such models (on the ELI5 dataset in this case): Long_Form_Question_Answering_with_ELI5_and_Wikipedia
