I’ve been hearing a lot about how AI PC can enhance productivity, especially for development tasks, but I’m curious—how exactly does it make the process easier? Does anyone here use an AI PC for coding, testing, or debugging? Are there any features that stand out for you, like automating certain tasks or improving performance during heavy workloads?
Would love to hear your experiences and if you think it’s worth investing in for a smoother development workflow.
If I understand correctly, the AI PCs of sorts and the latest high-end iPhones were designed to have a minimal AI processor in their own machine to intelligently process local requests, pass them to the AI of a major AI company in the cloud to do the work, and then collect it.
In short, it’s a PC that can use GPT4o more seamlessly and conveniently! I guess that means.
I haven’t used it yet, but I see a lot of people on HF using GPT4o, Gemini, and the big open source LLMs for coding.
If you find that useful, then an AI PC would be useful too.
I just don’t see anyone explicitly stating they use AI PC…
