My name is Chris Emezue
I am generally passionate about NLP for African languages.
Lately I have co-worked on building a machine translation model for Fongbe, ASR for Igbo, NER for Igbo, and now looking into speech translation and modelling for African languages, starting with Igbo.

Igbo is my mother-tongue, although I hardly spoke it as a child unfortunately. Now however, I am working towards changing that and making it used widely. For example, I designed the Edemede keyboard, which contains NLP features like auto-complete. More on the way!
