Hello,
I had uploaded a private dataset to my account 3 month ago. Today while trying to git clone it i noticed neither hugging face hub or git could clone the files, however the files were clearly visible in the webui under master branch. I even tried git lfs install && git lfs track "*.ext" && git lfs pull none of it worked.
After a hour or so i saw the repo was clean, and the files were now gone in the UI as well.
Please help

If it was three months ago, I don’t think there were any changes to restrictions that would be relevant…
- Git does not work with private repos
- Files disappeared on their own after a while even though Git was not working
I’m not sure if it’s some kind of automatic deletion or an error, but it’s scary behavior… @meganariley

I tried to pull the repo using git, but the repository had a main branch and master. i pulled the master one cause it had the files. then it worked once, next time i pushed to the repo and it cleaned all the files

That’s pretty strange behavior, so it might be intentional. You should probably consult support…? website@huggingface.co
