Why do some model developers not have a GitHub repository for their models?

Hello everyone,

I assume that the majority of model owners on Hugging Face have trained their models using specific code. Is there any place other than GitHub where model owners are storing their code? If most of them are using GitHub, why are they not creating a GitHub repository for their models?

I would greatly appreciate your contributions on this topic, as it is essential for my personal project at the university.

I cannot speak as a model developer, but as a virtual instrument developer I abandoned GitHub and took all my projects with me because I refuse to have a mobile phone, and their form of two-factor authentication really doesn’t like people that don’t have mobile phones.
