Advice sought: running a virtual community RL/NLP project

Two questions:

  1. anyone have tips on running a community RL/NLP project online? Specifically: platforms to use (e.g. dedicated Slack/Discord server, or a channel on an existing server), how to plan/organise activities… I’ve only run projects IRL before.

  2. anyone interested in participating? We’re hoping to re-start our Diplomacy-AI project. Since 2019 researchers (inc. at Mila, DeepMind, Facebook) have made a lot of progress on the tactical side, without communication. We want to leverage an existing communication protocol to begin to incorporate language. See Diplomacy-AI for background.
