🚨 Concern: Misuse of AI Spaces for Generating Explicit Content

Hi everyone,

I’m an active user of AI Spaces and would like to raise awareness about a potential concern.

:red_circle: What could happen?
Since image and video generation technologies are very powerful, there is a possibility that they could be misused to generate explicit (18+) content, for example by using innocent people’s photos as references. Currently, Spaces do not have strict restrictions on explicit content, which increases the risk of such misuse.

:warning: Why this matters

  • It could cause serious harm to individuals if misused.

  • It may undermine the safe and responsible use of AI.

  • It risks the trust and openness that Hugging Face promotes.

I kindly suggest exploring preventive measures, clearer guidelines, and stronger content restrictions to reduce the risk of misuse. This would ensure that AI Spaces continue to remain a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all users.

There is nothing inherently unsafe here. If you feel unsafe, consider using Microsoft products like Bing chat that provide a secure refuge from a world of endless possibilities.
