I know this question asked a lot but none of the proposed answers helped .
I subbmitted the authorization request for using the gemma models and it has not been approved yet. I did the login and followed the instructions. How come there is not clear steps around this despite being asked about many time?

The manual approval process for gated models is an exchange between the author and you, so in principle, HF staff cannot intervene. For example, Google will eventually process it, but only Google knows when. So I don’t think you’ll get a convincing response. You’ll have to contact Google basically.

It can vary a lot and depends on the repo authors
Also for context, unless something is broken we generally won’t step in to moderate these things (you can think of it being the jurisdiction of the repo authors)
I appreciate the quick response. The reason for my post is that from what I read the process of approval doesn’t take more than an hour and seem to be somehow automated and I must have been missing something. I wait and see.
