Access to 'Google's Gemma models family' gated repo taking too long

I requested access to Google’s Gemma models gated repo, it’s been >2 weeks now and the access status still shows as pending. I see that it needs manual access. Any thoughts on how much time it should take for the access to be granted? Do I need to provide any additional information? If so, how do I know?

We hear a lot of similar complaints…
To cut a long story short, it’s up to Google employees, so we just have to wait.
