Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) / passkeys login

I was surprised when I found that the Hugging Face Hub does not offer MFA protected login, and also that apparently no one has requested it in the forum or GitHub(?). After all, in many web services MFA has been available already quite some time. Having MFA would improve the overall credibility of the platform.

Could someone inform if HFH has at least planned to add MFA support at some point? Or, better yet, passkeys support?

In the meantime, could there be a workaround by using MFA through some of the supported SSO services?

Two-factor authentication (TOTP) implementation is in progress! It should be available in the next few weeks.
