I just managed to deploy and make a project run, and suddenly im not logged in anymore. I attempt to login, it says Unable to Login, weird. I have followed all hugging face policy rules. I changed my password but its not password related. the account is locked. Why? and there is no technical support or direct line to contact hugging face?
please respond to assist on a formal request to appeal this.
this is specifically dangerous as the account access is restricted, and spaces keep running. If i hadnt set sleep timer to 5 min, the running space on private would’ve cost a lot.
Please contact the following email address from the email address you registered with, with your locked HF account name. I encountered the same problem recently. The HF staff also did. If it is a false ban, I think it will be restored. website@huggingface.co
This is just small problem. There should be two reasons.
First you made too many posts in a day.
Second you have done bad act for huggingface froum, of course you didn’t know that and didn’t do intentionally.
There is a solution.
Send a detailed email to support@huggingface.co. Include:
Your registered email or username for the affected account.
A clear, polite explanation of the problem.
Steps you took (e.g., password reset) and a request for unlocking or further clarification.
thanks. i was in the process of contact support@huggingface.co, it seems to be an unknown issue. as i havent done any spam or wrong doing. will attempt a request to unlock via email
It must be a false lock, some system flag by mistake perhaps. as you said, users and even admins encountered this. the response on monitoring flag comments is very active, but no active tech support. forum monitors please forward this to a mod capable of solving a lock and unban my account, thank you @Dhdb
