Is there a way to make an assistant where people can ask questions without needing to create an account with Hugging Face, allowing access without account creation or logging in?
If you try using any of the spaces without logging in, you should be able to use them. There are some bugs that prevent you from using them, though…
In principle, this is the case for spaces that have been made public via the public settings.
The problem is how to restrict access. The easiest way is to authenticate as follows and enter the password in the Spaces secret.
There are also other ways, such as downloading the HF model and running it on a server of another company, or creating a web app or app using the HF API or Endpoint and publishing it to your friends. As long as the app creator has registered for some kind of account, the user does not need to register for an account.
