Share my private dataset with another user

Hi,

I have a private dataset on Huggingface Hub. Is there a way to share it with another user without making it public?

The only way I can think of at this moment is to create an organization, transfer the ownership of my dataset to the org, and invite the user to the org. But I don’t really want to transfer the ownership of the dataset. Is there a way to share the dataset while keeping it under my personal account?

Hi @weiqis ,

Your idea is perfectly fine; you can grant read-only access to the user within the new organization, as there isn’t another way to share your private dataset. Once this is done, you can remove the user from the organization.
