Huggingface.co Free Space Build Queued for several days now

Hi, I’m starting to think something is off after 4 days of waiting… :slight_smile:

All I have is:

You were right to think something was wrong. It booted up in 30 seconds.

Hmmm. Something might be off on “their” end… 2 days ago they pulled all the instructions on how to use Huggingface Free Space from their github.

I took a look at the changes, and this URL was among the texts removed: 404 – Hugging Face

Opening that link now gives a 404. Too bad. I’ll try to see if someone else has this public and if I can clone theirs :slight_smile:

So I don’t know what the build error is, but 2 days later it became mood as a problem. Thanks!

Grmbl. Now I’m stuck at “Preparing Space” after opening this running, recently updated Space:
MediaFlow Proxy - a Hugging Face Space by Mannysingh420

What should I do now? What’s going on? Why does the Huggingface hate me??? ;-(

PS: any option on how I can delete that stuck space? I restarted it but it remains stuck and I don’t think I see an option to delete it?

This was removed from Github and was previously part of the free Huggingface space solution to run Mediaflow-Proxy as a Stremio Addon.

### Option 3: Hugging Face Space Deployment

1. Visit the HF Space: [mhdzumair/mediaflow-proxy](https://huggingface.co/spaces/mhdzumair/mediaflow-proxy)
2. Click on three dots on the right side of the page and select "Duplicate Space"
3. Set the `API_PASSWORD` secret value & Set Visibility to "Public"
4. Click on "Duplicate Space" to deploy the API

any option on how I can delete that stuck space? I restarted it but it remains stuck and I don’t think I see an option to delete it?

If you click on the three dots at the top of the screen and select Settings, you will be taken to a screen where you can delete things or so.

Space build stacks sometimes happen, but the cause is often unknown to us users. It happened to me just a while ago, but this time restarting Space seemed to fix it.

I got feedback from the addon’s author… He has the same problem as I have: it’s stuck on Building…

I’ve heard that HF prohibits certain types of proxies. However, I don’t know if this is the case…

Is the discuss forum just for community members, or is it being watched by official support too?

I think the HF staff who manage the forums and the few HF staff who check the forums are watching.
The rest are users like you and me.
However, I think the restrictions are more internal, and they are not made because the staff saw them on the forums.

There are cases where a space that doesn’t work is created, and the staff will tell you on the forum later that it was actually a restriction. Well, there are very few cases where there are restrictions.
At this time, it is unknown whether or not this is a restriction.
