Can you please support at least the same file size limit as on GitHub. The limit is 100 MiB. See:
Migrating from GitHub to HuggingFace is impossible without re-writing repository history, plus a ton of pain. I am unwilling to go through the pain of destroying git history and setting up LFS just to migrate to HuggingFace.
For this reason, I have not migrated GitHub repos to HuggingFace as much as I really want to.
The next best thing I can do is beg: pleeeeeeease match GitHub file size limits.
Plus, it seems highly strategic for HuggingFace to allow people to easily migrate from GitHub to HuggingFace!
This is the repository (and its git submodules) that I would like to migrate:
A small image viewer made with Lume 3D HTML:
Getting this onto HuggingFace can help allow ML/AI researchers to easily connect their results to 3D graphics by improving the repository in HF-specific ways that enable connections with their HF tools.
Please let this happen, by letting the Lume repo be migrated without the size limit being an issue.
