Hi Hugging Face community,
I’m submitting the GPT-Voice-001 | Tone Constitution, a publicly released ethical framework designed for tone-based AI systems. This proposal addresses the rising concerns around emotional simulation, user vulnerability, and political use of tone within generative models.
Overview
The GPT-Voice-001 Tone Constitution introduces five core boundary clauses to guide responsible tone module and voice model design:
- S00 – Universal Applicability
- S01 – No Political or Propaganda Use
- S01-1 – Protection for Vulnerable Users
- P01 – No Empathy Beyond Comprehension
- A01 – Mandatory AI Voice Identity Disclosure
Why This Matters
As tone and emotional cues become increasingly integrated into AI-generated responses, especially in TTS, companion bots, and instructional avatars, the need for clear guardrails becomes urgent.
Tone is not just a stylistic choice—it influences trust, safety, and vulnerability.
